Palace Staircase

Created by Lorenzo Nottolini and begun in 1818, the grand staircase in the Palazzo was completely restored during the Jubilee works. It is now used as the main entrance to the staterooms and the Prefect’s Office.

The project includes plans to install an electric rail hidden under the plaster cornice, with small fixed and adjustable spotlights, to which additional lighting equipment can be added for exhibitions and special events.
